6/01/09 - Wow June already !!! Thank goodness I have understanding kids as last week I had to scratch the bags.. Logan helped with that also :) I was just run down I guess and because Logan had a project due on friday and needed my computer I just wasn't "able" to do bags... The rest was good! Logan has been having a good run with Lacrosse, they are undefeated, with two ties. The coolest thing happened when he was outside practicing LAX and doing catches & craddles...well a hawk lands in the tree near him and he keeps at it ( throwing the ball up in the air and catching it )...well one time he tosses the ball up and the Hawk dives at the ball , catches it, and takes off with it...hahaha, what a cool thing !! That is something he will remember for the rest of his life for sure ! I decided to dig for new things to draw for Logan...so Deadman from the 1950's DC comics was a fun one .

6/08/09 - One last week of Lacrosse for Logan...this Saturday he will be playing at Harvard Stadium before the crowd at the Boston Cannons ( Pro Team ) game. We will do our usual, that is, head up to Harvard Square early and hand out. Logan likes to hit Newbury Comics, Tokyo Kid and then we have Pizza in the Garage... reminds me of when Uncle Kevin and I would hang out there as kids. This week Logan got, what seemed to be, a minor concussion against Nantucket. The team wasn't very good with the exception of one kid, who at 14, was 6' 4" and tossing the boys around like Liliputians...eventually Logan being one of them. The kid gave Logan a clean hit and he went down pretty hard, although Logan said he got knocked pretty good, he hopped right up and never told me of his headache or nausea until bedtime. He's ok now, I just aggravated him all night waking him up every couple hours and making him stand up and tell me how many fingers I was holding up... I think by the morning he was ready to ask me how many fingers he was holding up :) This one is called the "Death of Light"... I had to tone down the image as it's very graphic how he dies ( I think Logan said shot 30 times ? )... I will say I still was a little unsure about how graphic to make it.
