9/14/09 - Fetch Ruffman.... Morgan loves this show ( I actually enjoy it also ). She started back into the big 1st grade this year!!! She is such a little girl now, becoming very independent, and not taking any flack from her brothers... We had a great summer and the day the boys started school Morgan had a 1/2 day, so we ended the summer as we started it... 4 Wheeling in the State Forest. It was funny, we hit some deep puddles and, as always, the water ( well mud ) came right up over the front and soaked us. She had a blast and I couldn't thinkof a funner way for her to spend her last day of summer !

9/21/09 - "da da da da da... PBS Kids !" Ok so I got one of those " surprise me Papa" requests... those words still throw me for a loop every week ! Morgan been busy at school but also finds the time to draw/color every day. Today I had to go to Staples and print out over 200 sheets for my students, she helped me with them all...on the ones I had to staple she correlated them as I asked and stapled them while I printed more stuff. Then she asked if she could have one of each of the worksheets ( they are drawing practice sheets for my Drawing I students ) so she could see if she can do them. Basically there are 4 images and 4 larger, empty, boxes....the students "copy" what they see into the box... funny thing is, she is such a great artist at this age she could do them I bet !! I will see this week as I want to challenge her more with drawing. She also made me a really sweet note about my Knee (which is wrecked) and she hoped the Doctor can make it better... it also came with a picture of things we "do" together...it had the Jeep, the computers, and other stuff but the cutest thing was she drew her and I on 4 lunch bags standing in the sun :)

9/28/09 - Blossom...Bubbles...Buttercup !! My how Morgan embodies all three of these super heroes ! She has the leadership of Blossom, the sweetness of Bubbles, ... and the " I can kick my brother's butts " power of Buttercup !! Morgan signed up for Piano this week and looks very excited to play, she asked if I would get her a Disney book of music and you know I will :) Morgan also started her second year of Daisy's and she looks so big next to all the other girls, she has to be a couple inches taller than any other girl.... she is going to be very tall when she grows up...but that better be a long time from now as I want her to still remain my little "Powerpuff Girl" for a while longer...
